Data collected
- Account: email address, username, profile picture
- Sports profile: playing level, city/region, court position
- Matches: scores, results, match history
- Videos: match videos uploaded for AI analysis
- AI analyses: scores, metrics, personalized coaching
- Subscription: Premium status (managed by RevenueCat)
- Technical identifiers: push notification token (Firebase Cloud Messaging), install identifier
- Geolocation: approximate city/region to suggest nearby clubs (only with your explicit consent)
- Diagnostic data: anonymized error reports via Sentry (stack trace, OS version, technical context — no personal content)

- Calculate and display your certified ELO
- Generate AI analyses of your matches via Gemini (Google)
- Personalize your training plan
- Display regional and national rankings
- Manage your Premium subscription
- Send you push notifications about your matches and analyses
- Detect and fix bugs (Sentry diagnostics)

Data sharing
Your data is never sold. It may be shared with the following processors:
- Supabase — storage and authentication (EU servers)
- Google Gemini — AI analysis of match videos (US servers, transfer covered by the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses)
- Firebase (Google) — push notifications, EU/US servers
- Sentry — error monitoring (EU servers)
- RevenueCat — subscription management
Match videos
Uploaded videos are used solely for AI analysis. They are sent to the Google Gemini API and may be temporarily retained by Google in accordance with their terms of use. We do not share your videos with other users.
Legal basis for processing
In accordance with GDPR (Article 6), we process your data on the following bases:
- Performance of contract — to provide the Linceya service (AI analysis, ELO, ranking, subscription management)
- Consent — for geolocation and push notifications (you can withdraw consent at any time in the app settings)
- Legitimate interest — to improve the app and prevent fraud
- Legal obligation — to retain billing data
Data retention
Your data is retained as long as your account is active. If your account is deleted, all your personal data is removed within 7 days, except billing data which is kept for 30 days for legal obligations.

Security
All data is encrypted in transit (HTTPS). We use Supabase with Row Level Security (RLS) policies to protect your data.
Children
Linceya is not intended for children under 13. We do not knowingly collect data on minors under 13.
